Fitmanager offers different account types. The type of account users have, determines what they can do and what information is visible to them. Every account is linked to a (unique) email address, with the exception of family accounts.
How it works:
As a Fitmanager client (club) you receive a manager account. This grants you access to your club portal on the Fitmanager website and in the Fitmanager app. From here you can set up all the desired settings, you have access to all overviews and you can also appoint additional managers.
You can also appoint trainers. These are the staff who run the sessions that your club offers. They have access to the calendar and the registration modules only unless you grant them any other rights. They have access to the same club portal, but only see the components where they have been granted access.
Your customers will have a member account. This only gives them access to the member portal of the Fitmanager website and app. This is a similar environment to the club portal, only with specific modules and overviews for customers. They have access to the calendar, their planning, their payments, the shop, and their personal account settings.
In addition to the normal member account there is also a family account. This family account is always linked to a standard member account, and is only accessible by first logging in with a standard member account. With a family account you can set up multiple customers on one email address in the member area, without losing any information. This is useful for parents and children who both attend sessions but do not have multiple email addresses in use.
