Fitmanager offers several different types of account. The type of account selected determines what the users can do and what information is visible to them. Every account is linked to a (unique) email address, with the exception of family accounts.
How it works:
As a Fitmanager client (club) you receive a manager account. This grants you access to the member area of your club on the Fitmanager website (the 'club portal'), and in the Fitmanager app. From here you can create all the desired settings, you have access to all overviews and you can also appoint additional administrators.
Alongside administrators you can also appoint trainers. These are the staff who run the sessions that your company offers. They have access to the calendar and the registration modules only. They have access to the same club portal, but only see the components where they have been granted access.
Your customers will have a members account. This only gives them access to the ‘members’ component of the Fitmanager website and app. This is a similar environment to the club portal, only with specific modules and overviews for customers (such as the activity schedules, their payments, the shop where they can purchase subscriptions and credits and settings for their account that they can edit).
In addition to the normal ‘member’ account there is also a family account. This family account is always linked to a standard members account, and is only accessible by first logging in with a standard members account.
With a family account you can set up multiple customers on one email address in the member area, without losing any information. This is useful for parents and children, who both attend sessions but do not have multiple email addresses in use.
